The Virginia Adams Marcus photo collection consists of photographs taken by Virginia A. Marcus, Class of 1958, between 1954-1956. A series of photos depicting the stage production of "Down in the Valley," performed by the Music Department is included as well as shots from the filming of a movie on campus by Paramount Studios in 1954. Marcus documented the Freshman-Sophomore Fight of 1954, the Sigma Chi Watermelon Bust of 1955 and a 1955 student trip to Bear Trap Ranch. Marcus was a resident at the Independent Women's House and a member of the Independent Women's Association on campus. I.W.A. photos are also included in this collection.
