Commencement speaker, Jane Lubchenco, CC class of 1969 and Wayne and Gladys Valley Professor of Marine Biology and Distinguished Professor of Zoology at Oregon State University, former Head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), "From Rats to Sharks: Tales of Public Service." Honorary degrees awarded to Jerri Marr, Ed Robson (CC class of 1954), and Robert Schock (CC class of 1961).
