Introduction to Taiwanese, Chapters I - II is a study resource geared towards Taiwanese Americans with prior knowledge in Mandarin Chinese. The intention of this book is to help Taiwanese Americans at the high school or university level develop their understanding of the Taiwanese dialect and culture, and comprehensively build communication competencies across the listening and speaking skill areas. It also aims to empower Taiwanese Americans and the Taiwanese diasporic people in the United States through language and cultural preservation and education.
