Abstract
The Biology of Plants Coloring Textbook was created by Dr. Rachel S. Jabaily (Colorado College Dept. Organismal Biology & Ecology) and M.G.B. Hurst (Colorado College class of 2025) with a grant from the Charles L. Tutt Library Open Education Curriculum Development Grant. The BPCT is meant to serve introductory level undergraduate students. The BPCT is structured as a condensed textbook, lab manual, and interactive workbook designed to engage the students before, during, and after the in-class sessions. Other instructors can adopt the Biology of Plants Coloring Textbook (BPCT) and tailor it to their own curriculum and goals following the Open Educational Resource model.
