This paper details the design and implementation of my web-application, "Globehub". The application was made with the intention of being a comprehensive, visual aid for delivering diverse news to users. The application was developed using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for the frontend and UI, and Node.js and Mongodb for the backend, in addition to a variety of open-source software and tools for other non-programming related tasks. It is my hope that this paper will serve as a reference on how to approach the task of creating your own application, web-based or not.
